Test the Color
Can't decide which wall decal color to choose? If you aren't sure if the desired motif will match your wall or interior decor, please order our Color Sample Card. This allows you to see what a shade looks like in reality. While the colors displayed on a screen come close to the original tone, they are often represented differently due to varying monitor settings and calibration.
Our wall decal films have a satin-matte finish. You can see exactly what the surface looks like by examining the colored stickers on the sample paper, where we have applied the original films. Important: The colors Gold, Silver, and Copper are particularly difficult to represent digitally and are often not true to life on screens. To be absolutely sure how they will look as a wall decal or window film in real life, order your color samples here, featuring every color we offer in our shop.
Test the Adhesion Many surfaces are suitable for wall decals and window films, but not every surface is appropriate. The decisive factor is whether the chemistry of the underlying surface is compatible with the chemistry of the film—essentially, whether they can bond together. Most often, the wall paint used is the deciding factor. Wall paints such as "Schöner Wohnen" and some "Alpina" varieties, as well as paints with a high content of Silicates (Potassium water glass), Acrylic, Latex, Silicones, and Synthetic Resins are NOT suitable for our adhesive films.
Why is testing so important? Especially for filigree motifs that have a small adhesive surface area (such as the Flower of Life or text quotes), it is crucial to inform yourself about the compatibility of your wall/surface beforehand. Please note: All our products are custom-made especially for you only after payment is received. We do not sell stock goods. Therefore, they are excluded from exchange or return.

The Test Sticker To test compatibility yourself, a small trial wall decal is included in the shipment. While this cannot replace a large or very intricate wall decal, it allows you to familiarize yourself with the mounting process. It should be easy to apply and, more importantly, it should stay stuck.
Note regarding Window Films: These films usually adhere perfectly to windows, glass, and mirrors. An adhesion test is generally not necessary here, but a color test is highly recommended.
