Om Tryambakam - Mahamrityunjaya Healing Mantra Poster
The Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra, originating from the ancient Vedas, is revered as a life-giving and auspicious chant. It promotes healing, strengthens vital energy and the solar plexus, and is recited for restoration in body, mind, soul, or emotions. From a spiritual perspective, the Om Tryambakam Mantra is viewed through the third eye. This mantra poster is designed as a circle with the sacred "Om" symbol at its center, representing the transcendental primal sound—one of the most exalted mantras and power symbols. Chanting the syllable "Om" generates vibrations that spread from the base of the spine to the crown, guiding the body, mind, and soul toward harmony.
The mantra can be divided into four levels of meaning:
-
Om Tryambakam Yajamahe: "We honor the three-eyed one"—a invocation to truth.
-
Sugandhim Pushtivardhanam: "Fragrant and nourishing"—invoking healing effects.
-
Urvarukamiva Bandhanan: "Like a ripe cucumber, releasing from bonds"—letting go to find liberation.
-
Mrityor Mukshiya Maamritat: "Free me from death, grant immortality"—for the highest realization of the true, eternal self.
Repeating a mantra aids in releasing mental and spiritual energies. It acts like a magical formula, focusing attention on a syllable or word to interrupt the stream of thoughts. The Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra is one of the most important in yoga and among the most renowned in Hinduism. This wall art, featuring the Vedic script in a circular design, is perfect as decor for yoga studios, meditation rooms, or holistic practices, infusing spaces with positive, harmonizing vibrations.
