The lotus flower is not called the “Sacred Flower” without reason. It symbolizes wisdom and purity of the mind and is one of the oldest and most profound symbols of good fortune. The flower carries a deep meaning, as it grows out of the mud, rises to the water’s surface, and blossoms beautifully. When night falls, the flower closes and sinks beneath the water again. At dawn, it rises back to the surface and opens. We humans can also go through a similar journey and grow into a wonderful flower. The qualities of the lotus therefore also stand for spiritual enlightenment, personal development, transformation, strength, new beginnings, prosperity, health, happiness, purity, and of course, beauty. In yoga, too, the lotus flower holds a special meaning, as it represents enlightenment and the third eye – the chakra between the eyebrows.
In Buddhism, the white lotus represents purity, the purple stands for self-awareness, the pink for enlightenment and the attainment of Nirvana, the blue for wisdom and knowledge, and the red lotus for love and kindness. In some cultures, the meanings of the colors differ slightly. In Christianity, the water lily symbolizes fertility and purity.

  Color Selection To test the color in advance and to check whether your surface is suitable for our wall decals, we recommend ordering our color sample card with a sample wall decal in your desired colors. Not every wall paint or surface is suitable! A little trick is to test the adhesive strength in advance with a regular adhesive tape for 1-2 days. If the tape (please test for 1-2 days) sticks well, the surface is very likely suitable for our self-adhesive wall decals. To be on the safe side, order test strips in your desired colors. A detailed list of adhesion on different surfaces can be found here A little trick is to test the adhesive strength in advance with regular adhesive tape for 1-2 days. If the tape (please test for 1-2 days) sticks well, the surface is very likely suitable for our self-adhesive wall decals. To be on the safe side, order test strips in your desired colors. Please note:Freshly painted walls should be allowed to dry for at least 14 days. For freshly plastered walls, the waiting time should be even longer.
Adhesive films should be mounted shortly after delivery and not stored over several months. A dry, dust-free place, not below 10°C and not above 30°C, is best suited for storage.
The bonding temperature should be at least 15°C. Cold and damp walls can make it difficult to affix.
Before you start mounting, the adhesive film should be unrolled and left in the same room as the surface to be glued for about an hour. This allows the material to adapt to the room temperature. Please pay special attention to this in winter when the wall decal or sticker is delivered in a cold state.
Temperature differences during transport can cause bubbles to form. These do not affect the quality of our products. The air inclusions can be carefully smoothed out with the squeegee.
