The second chakra, known in Sanskrit as Svadhisthana, translates to "One's own dwelling place" or "Sweetness." Also referred to as the Sacral Chakra, Sex Center, or Adhishthan, it is located in the lower abdomen, roughly at the height of the sacrum, between the navel and the genitals. In Yoga physiology, this is the seat of our Creativity, Sexuality, and Passion. It governs our ability to accept change, enjoy life, and feel pleasure.
